Monarch Telephone Co. Master
This is a Monarch Master Clock used to run either time stamps or Synchronized slave clocks and was built by The Monarch Telephone Co., Chicago. The maintenance record in the clock is first dated 1915 up thru 1930. There are no patents indicated on the movement but I was able to locate Patent # 1,310,023, July 15, 1919 for the same movement issued to William Krauter of Chicago and then assigned to the International time Recording Company of New York. Indications are that ITR bought up the patent in order to produce a Synchronized time clock system that they introduced in 1919.
The clock runs on 7 volts DC as marked on the winding terminals on top and also has terminals on top that are marked 110 volts for Secondary Line and secondary line terminals.
Any information on this clock company is appreciated.
